The
Spiritual
Seed is
Planted.

Born in Houston, Texas Travis’ parents worked for NASA. Soon after, his family moved to Winston-Salem, NC where he spent the rest of his childhood. At 9 years old, his mom introduced him to meditation — he spent hours meditating with cassette tapes and reading many books about spirituality. As he grew up, he also found a passion for cinema. In high school, he worked at various TV stations continuing to develop a greater love for filmmaking, this eventually led him to attend East Carolina University. At ECU, Travis connected with other like minded artists spending as much time as possible working in front and behind the camera. He was addicted to the power of storytelling and how it could change people’s lives.

Going to Hollywood…

After college Travis moved to Wilmington, North Carolina and made a living working on commercials, TV and even a big budget movie starring John Travolta, Vince Vaughn and Steve Buscemi. It wasn’t long before Travis, along with two friends, decided it was time to take their big dreams to Hollywood. There were a lot of highs and lows during this time period, involving an indulgence of alcohol, drugs and partying. Bad choices lead to bad outcomes and soon Travis hit rock bottom — nearly broke and disconnected from his authentic self.

Love at First Sight…

And then one day he was dragged to his first yoga class with Govindas at Santa Monica Power Yoga, and it was love at first sight. This first class was physically intense, spiritual and exhilarating. At the end of the class, during the final resting pose, Govindas sang a chant and the music brought Travis back to that same 9-year-old kid, it was like a homecoming! He was instantly addicted to yoga, meditation and chanting — immediately dropping all negative habits and toxic relationships.

Our Greatest Challenges Become Our Greatest Blessings.

From this point he was on the highway of radical transformation. After surviving a near-death experience in Kauai and another during the Thailand tsunami in 2004, Travis Eliot dedicated his life to spreading the teachings of yoga and meditation to as many people as possible.

A Final Prayer.
May we bring STRENGTH where there is WEAKNESS.
May we bring COURAGE where there is FEAR.
May we bring COMPASSION where there is SUFFERING.
May we bring LIGHT where there is DARKNESS.
May we be ULTIMATE.
